II. Tonight’s Topic – Multiple Income Streams:
Tonight, Brian and Mike talk informally about the topic of multiple income streams. For most anyone looking to build a substantial career in the music business, it is usually necessary to learn to use your various skills in a variety of ways. By taking your core talents and abilities, you can create different methods by which income can be generated. When one stream is a little slow, another is usually flowing freely and abundantly to help you provide for your needs and maintain your lifestyle, paying your bills and providing enough income for a hobby or two.

There are other tangents that the guys so down including hiring and firing musicians, putting 100% into every gig, and why music-related magazines suck at fostering realistic examples of successful music industry pros.

*REMEMBER: Tonight’s program is totally off the page. So, you never know where Brian and Mike will go.

Concerning mikes story about the bass player who showed up to the gig and laid charts on the floor to read. How many days did that bass player have to memorize all your music?
